Now, I know what you're probably thinking. "CoonCheese? What on earth is CoonCheese?" Well, I'm glad you asked! According to the dictionary, it's "a sharp cheddar cheese that has been cured at higher than usual temperature and humidity and that is usually coated with black wax." But here what it is, is a great site to visit again and again! While this site has little or nothing to do with raccoons OR cheese, we hope that won't make any difference. Perhaps your next question is, "Why CoonCheese?" Well, the fact is, my husband and I and his parents were brainstorming one day, trying to find a word in the dictionary that wasn't already a .com. Many of you may already know that the statistics say that over 99% of all dictionary words are already registered .coms. We were determined to find that less-than-1% that was still available. When my dear mom-in-law found 'cooncheese' we checked it out. Well, naturally, there wasn't one, and VOILA! Here we are! We wanted something easy to remember, and I feel quite sure that no one that hears the name "cooncheese.com" is likely to forget it too quickly!!
